You want to know something that really bothers me, windows. They allow us to see the outside, they allow beautiful natural light into our homes, but they always seem dirty. With three small kids and two dogs in my house, windows are their blank canvas. They like to leave me little secret notes on them with only god knows what. I sometimes swear my dog is trying to communicate with me through code with his snot. My husband and I will make up funny stories about our dog's window art.

Here is some of our dog's beautiful window art!

With all jokes aside, windows do always seem gross. You go to look outside, you squint your eyes, trying to see that random leaf that blew past. Then you don't really realize how dirty they are until you clean them, then it's like you put glasses on and can actually see. Before I was introduced to Norwex, I hated cleaning my windows. No matter what glass cleaner and paper towel brand that I used, the windows just still always seemed dirty. You know that commercial where the birds keep hitting the windows because birds can't see the glass?

Yeah, that was not happening at the Funkhouser house. Not that I really want poor birds to hit my windows, but the windows were never that crystal clear. Looking through a dirty window diminishes the natural beauty that you are trying to see.

So after I was introduced to Norwex, click here to learn what Norwex is; I found the Window Cloth. This cloth cleans my windows better than any chemical spray I have ever used. The best part about it, it works with just water alone. No more having to purchase chemical cleaners, and since it's already a cloth, I reduce my amount of paper towel usage as well! This one cloth is better for my wallet, my windows, my vision, and the environment. Sounds like a win-win to me!

The most effective way to use the Window Cloth is to first clean the window with an Envirocloth. Check out my post about the Envirocloth here. It is my must-have for every home!! After the window is clean, wipe the window with the Window Cloth. This removes streaks and any "leftovers" the Envirocloth left behind. It truly gives the windows and streak-free shine every single time!

If you are in a rush or don't have an Envirocloth. You totally need an Envirocloth click here to get yourself one! Spray the window with WATER and wipe clean with the Window Cloth. This will still give you that beautiful shiny window. I feel like the Enivorcloth is the best when it comes to removing the window art.

Now, of course, one of the main reasons why I love Norwex so much is because one product has so many uses. I wouldn't think of the Window Cloth as just a cloth for windows. It is so much more than that. I haven't even found out all of it's protentional yet, and I'm a Norwex Independent Consultant. If you want to become a Norwex Independent Consultant, learn more about it here. I like to think of the Window Cloth as the "polishing cloth" any surface that you want a nice beautiful shine to it the Window Cloth is your best friend.

I use the Window Cloth on mirrors, glass stovetop, chrome faucets, windows, car windows, glass door, patio table, glass kitchen table, wine glasses, tire wheels, headlights, and more. A few items that I would not use the Window Cloth on, anti-scratch surfaces, like eyeglasses, TVs, computer screens, phone screens, tablets, and handheld game consoles. The Window Cloth can scratch these surfaces and ruin them. To get these surfaces clean, use the Norwex Optic Scarf, link here, or the Tech Cleaning Cloth, link here. The optic scarf is for on-the-go, and the Tech Cleaning Cloth is the perfect addition to your Norwex cloths.

These cloths are made with Norwex's microfiber and Baclock technology, wait, Baclock?

Check out here what BacLock is. So these cloths are made of super-dense microfiber that can remove 99% of bacteria from the surface. With the BacLock, the antibacterial silver agent is embedded within the cloth to purify the cloth between uses. This BacLock technology is a time saver! Since it self-purifies, this means that you don't have to launder it as often. Saves time and saves money on that energy bill!!!

Check out some before and after pictures here!

Want to start saving money? How about reducing time spent cleaning? Or are you ready to kick those nasty chemicals out of your home? If you prefer baby steps, my first recommendation would be to start with the Envirocloth and Window Cloth! They even come in a package deal here.

LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL THEY ARE!!

These two cloths together can clean and shine about 70% of your home! Imagine all of the money that these two cloths can save you on chemical cleaners, paper towels, and cotton cloths! Side note!!! If you are using cotton towels to clean with, you're just rubbing those nasties around on the surface. Cotton towels don't really pick up anything.

Why it's so imperative for me to spread the Norwex mission? I am a mother. I have three small kiddos who, let's be honest, licks my windows like it's a lollypop. Yes, I have a window licker! Hopefully, she will grow out of it. But for now, everything Lilly touches, she tries to lick it. It amazes me that for my one child that is the pickiest eater out of anyone in this house, she sure does love to lick random things. For the record, and for her future embarrassments, no, Lilly does NOT lick toilets. With that being said, even if my crazy little Lilly decides to taste our windows, I don't have to worry if she is going to ingest chemicals. Our windows are beautifully clean with just using a cloth and water. This also means that I don't have chemical glass cleaner sitting under the kitchen sink. So less anxiety about her getting thirsty and trying to drink what she would think is blue Koolaid.

How are the windows in your home? Are they covered with beautiful window art from children or your furry babies? Do you find it frustrating when you "clean" them with the traditional glass cleaner and paper towels that they still seem dirty? Do you have a window licker or had a window lick as I do? Please tell me that this is just a phase!!

May your homes be filled with love and laughter and not toxic chemicals and germs.
